The previous design had problems in its organization and how it was presented. The website’s topic system was too complicated for me to remember where I left everything and I wasn’t happy how easy it was to read the posts.
Now I have simplified the internal organization of the website, but also completely re-thought the visuals. The website is still inspired by the brutalist design of HTML2 era of the Internet, but now adapted to modern technology (like mobile and 4K displays, as well as dark mode) and a more easily distracted reader.
Inspired by the Gov.uk Design Guide, I consciously decided to maintain simple semantic markup for the websites and focus on accessibility.
